ESTARA T'SHIRAI (formerly Estara Korai) founded the Iseum of the Green
World in Summer of 1999, as the culmination of years of training in Faery-oriented
and eclectic forms of Wicca and Paganism, in which she tried to integrate
her Fairth sensibilities with the modalities available in modern America.
Having been partially successful but not completely, she wanted to create
a forum in which those with an Otherworldly bent could uncover their religious
and magickal senses in a nurturing environment, so that they could then mediate
the best of each World to the other for the healing of both. She was consecrated
Priestess Hierophant in the FOI and founded the Lyceum of the Wayfarer in
January, 2000. She became an Archpriestess of the FOI in October, 2003.
She is primarily a writer and musician-singer, and is married with
one child and two cats. (Picture by Brian Froud.)INITIATES
SHARTASHA joined the Iseum in Summer of 1999 and the Lyceum shortly after
its inception in early 2000. She is a lifelong practitioner of natural and
faerie magick, and has been working magick with Estara since 1985. She also
makes beautiful costumes and jewelry, a few examples of which are on her
Web pages. She is married with two cats, one child (as of February 2001!),
some fish, and an obnoxious fantasy and scifi knicknack collection.

SHANEE KAILEA joined the Lyceum in Fall 2000, after four years of
solitary practice and study. A proper daughter of an artistically-inclined
family, she has pursued dance, poetry, painting, and sculpting. She
is also a voracious reader and an inventive mixer of alcoholic beverages.
She has three cats, and would have more if her family would allow
it. (Picture by Amy Brown.)

AUTUMN RAIN joined the Lyceum in the Fall of 2000. After too many
years in the fundamental Christian church, she began studying and practicing
Wicca. She is married with four kids, a cat, a dog and a couple of
fish. She enjoys cooking, camping and reading. (Another picture by
Amy Brown.)

KALI RACHMA joined the Lyceum in Fall 2000, after years of emptiness
until she found Wicca. She loves art and music, writing, making techno music,
graphic design, reading, cooking, soapmaking, gardening. She loves mermaids
and anything from India and Mexico. She has lots of ornamental goldfish and
is an avid collector of tattoos. She's almost married with one child.
(Another pic from Amy Brown, who
is all the rage this season, dahling!)

ARIANA found the Lyceum in the fall of 2000, just a few weeks after
moving
to California after a lifetime on the east coast, where she had spent several
years with a Celtic and Norse-oriented group in New York. She received
her ordination at the end of 2001, dedicating to Freya, Thor, Brige, and
Athena. She is an actress and grad student and, surprise, has a cat (a very
spunky one, too). (And it's...yes! Another picture by Amy Brown!)

DEDICANTS
TA'KASHARA joined the Lyceum in the Fall of 2001. After many years
in one tradition, she found she wanted a tradition that would help her reach,
explore and expand a newly awakened part of herself. She is divorced with
one faery child, one black kitten (Raven), one White Rabbit (Hookah) and
one black bunny (Elvis). (And the picture...what a shock! Amy Brown again.)

PSYCHE joined the Lyceum in the Fall of 2001. She loves reading,
horseback
riding, embroidery, crocheting, and anything herbal. Because her apartment
complex doesn't allow animals, she makes do with her plants, her pet fish,
Ligatti, and a wild raccoon named George. (Guess whose art it is.
Go on, guess!)

To become a member of the Iseum of the Green World, you must first become a member of the Fellowship of Isis. This is easy and free, and does not require that you change anything about your current religious beliefs or practice. Follow this link to the FOI Home Page and go to the Manifesto. (Bookmark us before you go!) By following the instructions there, you can become a member of the Fellowship. Then, send us an email confirming your membership in the FOI and your desire to join our Iseum. Iseum members do not have to be local to the SoCal hearth. To join the Lyceum of the Wayfarer, contact Estara. At this time, we only offer in-person training, so Lyceum membership is limited to Orange County (or people who are willing to commute there on a regular basis).
